New Store Hours

The store has new hours: Monday - Sat 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM. The store will be closed on Sundays. With the upcoming holidays, the store will be closed Dec 24, 25,31 and Jan 1.

Holiday Schedule

The store will be closed Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy your turkey and Black Friday shopping excursions. Be sure to stop by the store on Saturday, November 30 for Small Business Saturday. Let's keep our neighborhood stores open!

Just arrived!

The store has received ALOT of new product! Graphic 45 "Sweet Sentiments" and "Couture" collections are on the shelf. The matching stamp sets are also here. To make room on the shelves, LOTS of items are now in the bargain bin. There are many stamp sets on sale too. Be sure to stop by the store and check it out.

On Sunday, Nov 17 1:30 - 4, Susan will be teaching a card class using Maya Road products. Fee is $33.

Halloween card class

Come join me Sunday, Oct 13 1:30 - 3:30 for a fabulous Halloween card class. We will be learning techniques with spray inks and heat embossing.

Saturday class

Tami is holding a "Get Crafty with Tami" event this Saturday at the store. From 10-12:30, you can create a poinsettia framed project for $20. From 1:30-5:30, you can create a canvas tote bag for $18. Either project would make a great gift for the holidays.

BIG weekend ahead...

It is finally here! CKC is in San Marcos. To help celebrate a weekend of scrapbooking, the store has special hours. Friday open 10 AM to midnight; Saturday 10 AM to midnight; Sunday 12:30 PM - 5:00 PM. There will be a FREE make n take Sat from 11 AM to 3 PM. Free gift with a purchase of $20 or more! Plus Saturday night is crop night. Work at your own table, enjoy the Keurig machine, and shop at your leisure. Can't get any better!

Just hours remain..

I am so excited about the class tonight at the store! Stephanie Bernard, designer of Stamps of Life and Sizzix dies, will be holding a workshop TONIGHT 6-8:30 PM. I love the flip-it cards! If you are interested, call the store to see if any seats still remain. This is a great opportunity!

If you are looking for NBHS and CHS Homecoming supplies, check out the store. There are a number of mum accessories, ribbons, and glitter alphabet letters in stock for this season.

Countdown begins

The countdown to the CKC scrapbook convention is on! I can't wait to meet Stephanie Bernard, the artist with Stamps of Life stamp company. She will be at the store Thursday evening conducting an exclusive class. It is so great to finally meet the people whose names we have seen on the internet for years.

Flip It Card Class

Stephanie Bernard,one of the designers from Sizzix, will be at the store Thursday, Sept 19 to share how to create flip-it cards. Sizzix offers a variety of shapes and designs for these cards. The class is one of the rare evening classes offered by the store and it begins at 6 PM. Refreshments will be served. Seats are limited. Saturday, Sept 21 is Super Crop Night. The store is loaded with new product and this is the perfect time to spend some creative alone time.

Super Close Out

Be sure to check out the new items in the clearance section of the store. The bargain bin has LOTS of glitter paper, Disney paper, etc... All at a discount. The clearance wall also has some great buys including rolls of ribbon and stamp sets. The Deadbeat Design order arrived so the store is fully stocked with Mark's great rubber stamps. (The truck is back!) The store also features a complete ribbon wall- more ribbon than you could ever use up. As CKC weekend approaches, check out the special events at the store. There is a fabulous workshop on Thursday night and a great crop Saturday night.

Summer Clearance Blowout!

Susan just returned from CHA and she ordered a TON of cool, new products. The problem is where to put the product when it arrives. So, beginning today, August 1, ALL paper (except new arrivals) is on sale for 25 % off. What a deal! Come in early to get all your vacation and summer camp paper now. Exciting Class Announced

Xyron at the store!

For those of you who love the convenience of the Xyron tool... The store has a super mini version of the Xyron that is perfect for crops. It is very petite and portable. Because of the size, it is disposable - there are no refills for this size. But at the sales price, it doesn't matter. It easily packs in your tote.

Garage Sale !

The next crafters' garage sale is this Saturday at 9 AM. If you would like to sell some items, call the store to reserve a table and obtain a vendor number. For buyers, please remember the store opens an hour early (9 AM) for this sale and all purchases at the sale are CASH only. New products at the store

The demo from Lifestyle Crafts was fabulous! The store now has many of the new products on the shelf. There are MANY die cuts to choose from. One new product that I really liked was the Genius platform. This is a magnetic platform that will hold your die cuts in place as it rolls through your cutting machine. No more taping dies down! There is an embossing plate and a cutting plate that is more flexible than the plates you probably got with your machine. (I always hate it when my plastic plates are warped. It is hard to roll the machine and you don't get an even cut because the paper and die are not flat.) PLUS you get a set of nesting dies when you purchase the Genius. If anyone wants to try out this platform, respond to this post and I'll bring my Genius to the store for you to try.

Big Weekend approaching

The next store crop is Friday, May 10. Saturday, May 11 1-4 PM is the framed art with 3-D flower class taught by Lisa. Cost is $23. The project sample is on display at the front of the store. Saturday night from 4-11 will be one of the rare Saturday night crops. Be sure to reserve a seat in advance for $15 and receive $7 in store credit during the crop.

Saturday is just around the corner. There is still time to sign up for the National Scrapbook Day crop this Saturday from 1 PM to 11 PM. Cost is only $20 for ten hours of fun and food.

Great card supplies

Here is a cute little card I made using Darcies stamps and papers. This company really has great supplies for card making. The stamps are petite and look great on a card front. The scale of the paper graphics are also appropriate for cards.
